7 THINGS ALL THE TMKOC FANS ARE WAITING FOR...


Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the most famous and longest-running show in Hindi. One of the famous Bollywood production company Neela Tele Films is producing this show. It is entertaining all the Indians from 28th July 2008. It adopts many amazing awards like Indian Television Academy Awards, Indian Tele Awards, Star Guild Awards. People can enjoy this show from Monday to Friday. The entire story takes place in Mumbai city, East Goregaon and focused mostly on eight families in four wings of 17 flats. This series has a large viewership.

                The title Taarak Mehta’s gives the meaning of inverted spectacles. It is also abbreviated as TMKOC. Actually, this show is based on the column ‘Duniya Ne Undha Chashma’ which was written by a famous columnist Taarak Mehta who works on Gujarati weekly magazine Chitralekha. This show feeds us healthy comedy and the character of the show are just like our neighbours and family members.

People are waiting to happen the seven miracle things in the show which we are going to discuss now.



  1. Dayaben making a comeback

The funniest and entertaining characters of this series are Jethalal Champaklal Gada (Dilip Joshi), his wife Daya Jethal Gada (Disha Vakani), his son Tipendra Jethalal Gada (Bhavya Gandhi), and his father Champaklal Jayantilal Gada (Amit Bhatt). Disha Vakani is one of the loved characters on this show and she got Best Actress Comedy Award from Indian Television Academy Awards in 2008, 2009, 2014 and from Indian Tele Awards in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013. Because of pregnancy, she left the show two and a half years back. From then she never returned to this show. But the fans of Disha Vakani are eagerly waiting for her come back to this show.

  • Poptlal’s Wedding

This entire show is filled with many funny characters, among those Patrakar Popatlal is one of the best roles. His role in it is unique. He is the crime reporter from the Toofan Express. In this show, he tries to get married but he always tastes the failure because of his bad luck.



  • Natu Kaka and Bagha getting a salary raise

Another interesting couple of artists Natu Kaka and Bagha are the loyal employes of Jethalal. Often these two are trying to raise their salaries, but Jethalal never makes their dream come true. We have to wait for the day when their hard work will bring them to raise in pay from Jethalal.



  • Sundarlal finally paying all the dues to Jethalal

The trouble maker for Jethalal is Daya’s brother Sundarlal. One more interesting fact is Daya and Sundarlal are real brother and sisters. In this plot, Sundarlal always asks Jethalal to pay for him for everything like taxi, business and, etc. All the audience are wishing to clear his debt or at least he should start paying his bills.

  • The makers showing Daya’s mother once and for all

A Sprinkling character Daya’s mother who has a lot of talent overacting. But she doesn’t get the right situations to prove her talent in the show. So, the audience is wishing to see a maximum of episodes with her role and Jethalal.

  • Iyer and Jethalal sorting out their differences

This total play moves around the Gokuldham Society and all its members are like a family. But coming to Jethalal and Iyer, they never get close to each other. Because Iyer doesn’t like Jethalal’s flirting his wife Babita.

  • Tapu and Sonu’s romance

In this comedy series, we can see the love between Jethalal’s son Tapu and Bhide’s daughter Sonu. Earlier they were besties. Especially this love track focused on Valentine’s day. Here the viewers are waiting to see whether Bhide accept their love or not. Jethalal would be happy if Tapu and Sonu get married. The viewers also expecting that they should get married. The viewers also expecting some romance on the screen between Tapu and Sonu.

One of the cheerful character Tarak Mehta (Shailesh Lodha) and his wife Anjali Tarak Mehta (Neha Mehta) plays an amazing role in this show. Finally, Krishnan Subrahmaniam Iyer (Tanuj Mahashabde) and his wife Babita Krishnan Iyer (Munmum Dutta) also done their excellent performance. Some other funny characters who are helpful to the main characters.

From the beginning, till now this show stood at the top in TVT ratings. In 2019 it got the first position with 7952 TVT ratings in 42nd week. However, this famous series won the hearts of the Indian viewers with their wonderful team members and healthy comedy. This series also had Crossover episodes with C.I.D in 2014.
